AAPS Middle School
Middle School at AAPS is a transformative stage where students shift from guided exploration to becoming confident, independent thinkers. Our program is thoughtfully designed to meet the unique intellectual, emotional, social, and physical needs of students in Grades 6 through 8—preparing them for the academic rigor and increased responsibility of high school and beyond.
At this pivotal time in a learner’s journey, we foster resilience, critical thinking, and creativity while nurturing strong values and character. Students at AAPS are challenged, inspired, and supported every step of the way.

Academic Philosophy
The AAPS Middle School experience blends academic rigor with creativity, values-based education, and a strong cultural foundation. Our curriculum is aligned with:
Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for English Language Arts and Mathematics
Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for Science
UAE Ministry of Education Guidelines for Arabic Language, Islamic Education, Moral Education, and Social Studies
California State Standards for Art, PE, and Humanities
The curriculum is conceptual, skill-based, and inquiry-driven, ensuring that students build foundational knowledge while applying it in real-world contexts. Through STREAM-based projects, cross-curricular learning, and collaborative problem-solving, students develop as well-rounded, globally aware citizens.
